As a farmer, providing quality forage for my livestock is always on the forefront of my mind. Year after year of hay forage production I realized that many of the crop and ground is destroyed by the use of modern-day tractors. Working as the store manager at a local feed store that provided herbicide and pesticide, I became a local source for dealing with invasive weeds and bugs. I would also hear from many farmers that as they aged, they did not know how much longer they would be able to adequately provide for their livestock. That is where I came up with the idea to provide a service for those farmers to continue to produce. At the same time, I discovered newer drone technology being used in other parts of the United States. I thought that if this new technology was used in the area, not only would it provide a valuable service but also increase forage production. The benefits of this new technology far outweighed the use of aging technology when it comes to pasture management. This is when the idea for Field Fly Drone Applications was born.
